This Privacy Policy explains how Metiosys Software Solutions ("Metiosys", "TallyKart", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the TallyKart platform (the "Platform") to discover, purchase, activate, and manage Tally business solution software licenses. By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.
We collect information you provide directly to us (such as when you register an Account, place an Order, or contact support), information generated through your use of the Platform, and information necessary to deliver and support Software licenses. The categories of information we collect are described in Sections 3 through 10 below.
This includes your name, email address, mobile number, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text). We collect this when you create an Account or communicate with our support team.
This includes your business name, contact person, GSTIN (if provided), billing address, city, state, and country. We collect this to complete your Customer profile, generate accurate tax invoices, and process Orders.
This includes your Tally Serial Number(s), License ID, Engine Code, and Activation Key. We collect this information to activate, renew, and support your Software subscriptions, and to associate purchased licenses with the correct Tally Prime installation.
We may collect limited technical information about the device and browser used to access the Platform, such as browser type, operating system, and screen resolution, to ensure the Platform functions correctly across devices.
We collect information necessary to authenticate your Account, including login timestamps, session tokens, one-time verification codes sent to your email, and, where relevant, Google sign-in identifiers if you choose to sign in with Google. We also record the IP address and browser/user-agent string associated with security-relevant actions, such as login attempts and acceptance of these policies, for account security and audit purposes.
The Platform uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences (such as light/dark theme). We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
We may collect aggregated, non-identifying information about how the Platform is used, such as which pages or product categories are viewed most frequently, to help us improve the Platform. This information is used internally and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). TallyKart does not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on its own servers; we retain only the payment status, transaction identifiers, and payment method type necessary to reconcile your Order and issue invoices.

Your information is never sold. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including password hashing, encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, and audit logging of sensitive administrative actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain Account and Order information for as long as your Account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Policy acceptance records (including the version accepted, timestamp, and IP address) are retained as a compliance audit trail even if the underlying Account is later closed.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time, subject to our legal obligation to retain certain records (such as tax invoices and policy acceptance logs) for a minimum statutory period.
For Channel Partners, we additionally collect and process business registration details, GSTIN, website, experience information, and information about the Customers a Channel Partner manages on the Platform, solely to administer the Channel Partner program and facilitate licensing and support on behalf of Customers.
The Platform is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the current version took effect, and prior acceptances remain recorded against the version accepted at that time.
