Protect Your Tally Company Data

TallyKart Data Protection lets you protect a Tally company by binding its data to the current Tally Serial Number. Once protected, the company can only be opened using the authorized Tally Serial Number.

This provides an additional layer of protection for your Tally company data, especially when company data is transferred, copied, shared, or restored on another system.

How It Works

• Open the company you want to protect.
• Select Protect Data from the Tally Data menu.
• Confirm the protection.
• The company becomes bound to the current Tally Serial Number.
• The protection remains with the company data.
• The data can only be opened using the authorized Tally Serial Number.

Remove Data Protection

When required, an authorized administrator can remove the protection from the company. Once the protection is removed, the company returns to its regular state and can be opened with any Tally Serial Number.
