Voucher Visibility Control

Voucher Visibility Control provides user-wise control over voucher type visibility in Tally. It allows administrators to define which voucher types each user is permitted to access and ensures that restricted voucher types are not displayed in supported reports.

Tally's standard security features can control whether users can display or alter vouchers, but businesses may also need to control which voucher types users can see in reports. Voucher Visibility Control adds this additional layer of control.

• User-wise Voucher Access: Configure the voucher types that each Tally user is allowed to access.
• Report-level Visibility: Restricted voucher types are automatically excluded from supported reports for the user.
• Day Book Control: Users see only the permitted voucher types when viewing the Day Book.
• Voucher Register Protection: Prevent users from opening Voucher Registers for restricted voucher types.
• Multi-branch Support: Ideal for businesses using separate voucher types for different branches, such as KAN-Sales, KOC-Sales and CAL-Sales.
• Flexible User Permissions: Different users can have different combinations of permitted voucher types.
• Additional Security Layer: Works alongside Tally's existing security controls to provide more focused voucher visibility management.

For example, a company can allow a Kannur branch accountant to access only Kannur voucher types while restricting Kochi and Calicut voucher types. The same principle can be applied to departments, teams or specific business functions.
